InsureNet is quite simply, the safest system in the world.  It maintains no names or addresses, (no data of commercial value) and is also hosted and all transmissions are controlled by NLETS.  Owned by all U.S. States, NLETS has never once been compromised since being founded in 1961.  Providing almost 100 million transactions monthly, it serves and connects: the Law Enforcement Communities in all U.S. States; the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; seventeen Divisions of the FBI; INTERPOL; all Canadian Provinces, USDOJ, NCIS and all other Military Investigation Systems; and Homeland Security/ICE. InsureNet is the very essence of a completely safe technology…. inside a completely safe system architecture….inside a completely safe technical environment. Although the system does not maintain any personal data and thus provides no target of “commercial opportunity,” it also keeps all data in blind codes and uses NLETS standard Triple DES encryption.
